Woman arrested after allegedly firing shots at man during argument (wafb.com) — Deputies say a woman was arrested after allegedly firing several shots at a man during an argument at a Bayou Fountain Avenue apartment complex in Baton Rouge. According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, no one was injured, but the woman faces attempted second-degree murder and property damage charges while the case remains pending.

BRPD: Two arrested after narcotics search at business on South Choctaw Drive (wafb.com) — Baton Rouge police say a narcotics search at a South Choctaw Drive business led to two arrests and the seizure of marijuana, a handgun, and cash. Detectives report both men have prior arrest histories, and the investigation into alleged drug activity at the site is still ongoing.
