Annapolis Mayor No Longer Self-Isolated Due To Coronavirus

Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley's public appearances were canceled for the rest of the week until he received the news.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Mayor Gavin Buckley was notified Wednesday night that the coronavirus test taken by the individual he had been near who experienced symptoms came back negative. Until the test results came in, Buckley isolated himself at home as a precaution.

Buckley conducted city business from his home for the three days while awaiting the test results. He never experienced any symptoms himself and was never tested.

“I am getting used to virtual meetings. It’s a bit of a new way of life for all of us," said Buckley in a statement.
