Investigation 'Open' in Fatal Fallston Crash: Police
Vehicle involved was located, but no charges have been filed in March 5 crash, according to Maryland State Police.

More than three months after a Fallston man was killed pushing a snowblower outside his home, police say the investigation is ongoing.
Christian Widomski, 44, was walking on Harford Road near his home with a neighbor’s snow blower at approximately 7 p.m. on March 5 when he was fatally hit, police said.
Police identified the suspect vehicle as a Jeep Cherokee, and reported on St. Patrick’s Day that it had been found.

This week, Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley said that officials are still investigating the case and no charges have been filed.
Police must file traffic or misdemeanor charges within one year and one day of the incident, according to Shipley. He said that felony charges have a larger window.

Shipley said that investigators considered the case open and as such, he could not comment on specifics.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, I do not want to be specific about each individual test result or type of evidence that investigators may be waiting to receive or have analyzed,” he said.
During the initial stages of the investigation, citizens submitted more than 200 tips to police, Shipley said previously, since the suspect vehicle left the scene and continued toward MD 152.
Widomski left behind a family that includes two sons. There is a GoFundMe account set up for them: the Chris Widomski Memorial Fund.
