Bethesda Snowstorm: What's the Forecast for Sunday

BETHESDA, MD — The snowstorm that crippled much of Maryland should soon blow out of the area -- and good riddance -- leaving behind two feet of snow or more in some places.

By 5 p.m. Saturday, 2 feet of snow was reported in Bethesda and Rockville. And it was still falling. Latest Snowfall Totals.

The good news: Sunday’s forecast calls for a high near 31 and the blizzard behind us. The bad news: Areas of blowing snow are expected, along with neighborhood roads that may still be impassable.

The low Sunday night will be 14 degrees, so drivers should be cautious. Monday offers a better shot at melting off some of this snow, with a high at 35 degrees and mostly sunny. Local forecast.
