Food and entertainment are planned for a pop-up dog park in Downtown Bethesda on Oct. 26.

BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE, MD - From Downtown Bethesda: Bethesda Urban Partnership and Montgomery Parks are pleased to announce the inaugural “Yappy Hour,” an evening of fun in downtown Bethesda for residents, visitors and their furry best friends.
Yappy Hour will be Thursday, October 26, 5-7pm. Located at Elm Street Urban Park, 4600 Elm Street, Bethesda, MD, the event will include a pop-up dog park and live entertainment. Wind down from the week and enjoy the company of your dog while listening to live music, enjoying food and drinks by Bethesda restaurants and more. The pop-up dog park will consist of a small dog and a large dog enclosure area for well-socialized dogs.
“In partnership with Montgomery Parks, we are excited to bring Yappy Hour and a pop-up dog park to downtown Bethesda and create a festive gathering for the community and their four-legged friends,” said Rick Ammirato, Executive Director of Bethesda Urban Partnership. “We are lucky to have accessible, well-maintained parks throughout our community where friends and neighbors can easily meet while enjoying downtown Bethesda.”
