The First Annual Tomato Fest Is Coming to Bethesda

The Sept. 10 festivities will include a brunch, live music, a spaghetti-eating competition and activities for the kids.

Join North Bethesda Market on Saturday, Sept. 10, from noon to 5 p.m. for Montgomery County's first annual Tomato Fest. There will be plenty of activities for everyone, including three Tomato Competitions: tomato sauce tastings and the People's Choice Award for Best Tomato Sauce, a local celebrity chef cooking competition and a spaghetti-eating contest presented by Brio Tuscan Grille.

Other attractions at Tomato Fest 2016 will include:

  • live music from Scott Kurt & Memphis 59 and Durham Station
  • local food and drink offerings
  • tomato-inspired art presented by VisArts
  • free kids activities
  • prizes and more!

Plus, join us for a VIT (Very Important Tomato) Brunch at Seasons 52 restaurant from 10:30 a.m. to noon, prior to the Tomato Fest kickoff. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit VisArts, a non-profit organization in Rockville that offers arts and cultural programs to the public. Purchase your tickets here.
