Images of Murder Victim's Personal Effects Released
Montgomery County Police have shared photos of rosary, necklace and clothing found with man's body in efforts to dentify him.
In an effort to identify a homicide victim, detectives have released photos of the rosary, clothing, necklace and other items found with the remains of a man left in a shallow grave in a Gaithersburg park.
Hunters in Great Seneca Stream Valley Park found the remains and contacted police on Aug. 29. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled the death a homicide due to trauma to the upper torso of the victim, Montgomery County Police said.
On Tuesday, detectives asked for the public’s help to identify the victim. He is described as a white male, possibly Hispanic, who is believed to be in his late teens to twenties. It is believed that the victim’s body has been in the shallow grave less than six months.

Authorities have released photos of the victim’s clothing and personal effects hoping that someone will recognize the items or have information about the items.
