Kensington Farmers' Market Braves the Cold

While many markets close shop for winter, Kensington keeps going through the cold.

As the winter chill rolls in, the Kensington Farmers’ Market keeps going strong each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Historic Train Station.

Each week local and regional vendors will continue to come out to sell their specialties to those still searching for a lively farmers’ market into the winter months.

About 17 vendors each week will be out selling their fresh baked goods and breads, seasonal fruits and vegetables, organic meats, seafood, cheese and olive oil. While browsing, grab some lunch at any of the prepared food vendors selling everything from paella to Belgian waffles and much more – ready to eat or reheat.
