Local Bethesda Seniors Dance Away With Fitbits Thanks to AT&T

Seniors learn how fitness wearables can be integrated into their health routines.

Local Montgomery County Seniors headed to St. Lukes in Bethesda for their cardio dance exercise class yesterday, but things were a little different than usual. AT&T brought Fitbit’s for every participant to try out in order to show them how they can integrate wearables into their daily routine. Fitness wearables can measure diet, exercise, and sleep cycles, helping to give participants a good idea of how healthy they are, while also motivating them to reach higher wellness goals.

Wesley Amos, Manager of the Bethesda AT&T store, and AT&T volunteers took the participants through the process of syncing the Fitbit to smartphones to help show that the devices are easy to use.

The participants had a great time and a majority of them tracked over 5,000 steps as they danced the morning away!
