Massachusetts 'Baby Doe' Is Not Missing Sarah Hoggle: Father
A girl missing for nearly a year, along with her brother, from Montgomery County, is not the child found dead on a Massachusetts beach.

The father of missing 4-year-old Sarah Hoggle – gone for 11 months since her mother left home with her – has been told tests prove the body of a Baby Doe in Massachusetts is not the Montgomery County girl.
Massachusetts investigators say a little girl’s body was discovered on a beach, inside a black garbage bag. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the child, who is estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, reports the Boston Globe.
Troy Turner, the father of missing Sarah, 4, and Jacob Hoggle, 3, said he has been officially notified that DNA test results confirm that “Baby Doe” is not his daughter.

Jacob and Sarah have not been seen since early September 2014. Their mother, Catherine Hoggle, was with them last and refuses to tell the children’s father, her mother, or police, where the youngsters are. The mentally ill mother, who reportedly would not take her medication for schizophrenia, told relatives she gave the children to unnamed people for safekeeping as she faced commitment to a hospital.
Turner said he never thought the girl found in Massachusetts was his daughter.

He told Montgomery Community Media he hopes to meet with Montgomery County police about the case next week and urges everyone to keep looking for his children. He said it’s important for people to report anything they find suspicious, which is how other missing children have been found.
On the FindSarahFindJacob Facebook page the family said Wednesday: “It has been CONFIRMED that Baby Doe IS NOT Sarah Hoggle - as we expected. Continue to share, pray and hope that the truth is discovered for the beautiful child found in MA. Thank you for so many of you who have inquired. Godspeed on finding answers.”
Those family members remain steadfast in their belief that the children are alive, while police are not optimistic about the youngsters’ fate.
Hoggle appeared in court in July as a judge was told she remains incompetent to stand trial, reports WTOP. However, medical professionals say she could improve to a point where she could stand trial.
Montgomery County Police believe the children are dead, while the extended Hoggle family disagrees.
Troy Turner, Hoggle’s common-law husband and the father of the missing toddlers, told MyMCMedia,“Apparently she is still incompetent but deemed restorable and in two months they are going to revisit.”
Hoggle will have another status hearing at 9 a.m. on Sept. 18.

Hoggle faces a criminal trial on charges of child neglect and obstructing and hindering an investigation in connection with the disappearance of the youngsters, reports Montgomery Community Media.
Possible Sightings?
In July family members said there was a possible sighting of the siblings at an Ohio airport. The children’s grandmother, Lindsey Hoggle, posted on the FindSarahFindJacob Facebook page: “We continue to have reported possible sightings of Sarah and Jacob--some with more information than others. Latest possible sighting was yesterday, MONDAY JULY 6th AM at the TOLEDO, OHIO AIRPORT, flight from PUNTA GORDA, FLORIDA. PLEASE continue to share their photos WIDELY. We believe they are out there.”
Catherine Hoggle remains in the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center. She says the children are safe, but has not given any information on their whereabouts. Her mother says Catherine wanted to escape from a possible involuntary commitment to such a facility, so she took the children as part of that plan to leave.
