Missing Elderly Couple Never Arrived in Silver Spring

An elderly couple from St. Mary’s County have been reported missing and were believed to be headed to Silver Spring, authorities said.

Grace Darling Hoyle, 81, and her husband, Charles William Hoyle, 82, were last seen Tuesday afternoon in Wicomico Shores, authorities said.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s office says Grace Hoyle has been diagnosed with dementia and needs medications. Her husband may also have medical problems.

The couple are believed to be traveling in a 2000 white Chevrolet Malibu with the license plate 8AC8679.
