Montgomery County Residents Sound Off on Snowplowing

ROCKVILLE, MD—As of 8 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Maryland has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought up to 33.5 inches of snow to towns across Montgomery County.

No travel ban was issued for Montgomery County throughout the storm, but Governor Larry Hogan is still urging residents to stay off the roads while crews get to work.

We asked Patch readers MoCo in how they felt about the plowing done on their block. Here’s what they said:

  • “What plowing?”
  • “No plow at all yet on Owens Glen Terrace.”
  • No. No plow in stone bridge”
  • “I’d be happier if the 2 cars parked at the top of Jones Lane and Carry Back weren’t there. The guy driving the plow truck threw his hands up in disgust and went in by.”
