Police say the alcohol holiday task force launched last month arrested 29 people countywide for driving under the influence over the weekend. Residents are urged to choose a sober driver or call SoberRide 1-800-200-TAXI to be sfe.
The holiday season crackdown on drunk drivers includes sobriety checkpoints and checks to ensure businesses don’t sell alcohol to underage buyers. Look for the stepped-up enforcement through Jan. 10.
