Shortly after midnight on Dec. 4, a resident of Lubar Way in Brookeville received a telephone call from a neighbor letting her know someone might have stolen a Christmas lawn decoration from her yard. When the victim checked on her display, she realized that two Christmas lawn ornaments were missing and another had been damaged.

Police say the suspect also tried unsuccessfully to remove more ornaments from the lawn display. The resident’s home video surveillance footage of her yard captured the suspect on camera. The total value of the stolen and damaged ornaments was about $600.
