Bowie Man Shot to Death; Reward Offered for Suspect
Prince George's County Police say Terrence Demond Zackery of Bowie was shot and killed early Saturday.

A Bowie man was shot and killed early Saturday, marking the city’s second shooting this month.
Terrence Demond Zackery, 31, of Patriot Lane in Bowie was shot and killed about 4:25 a.m. Saturday.
The Prince George’s County Police Department says a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in Zackery’s death.

In the earlier case, Christopher King Jr., 22 was arrested on June 20 and charged in the June 16 shooting of Melvin Thomas Jr., 23, following an altercation near the Huntington Community Center. Thomas was still in the hospital last week.

Bowie Man Arrested in Connection with Shooting at Community Center
Bowie Police officers were first called to the 1200 block of Patriot Lane and found Zackery outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives do not believe this was a random act. Investigators are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in the case.
