Police Officer Suspended After Pointing Duty Weapon At Driver: Report
A Prince George's police officer was suspended after he pointed his duty weapon at a driver and was arrested in Annapolis, a report said.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Prince George's County Police Department announced Thursday that it suspended one of its officers without pay after he was arrested in Annapolis. Authorities identified the punished corporal as James Thornley.
The agency accused him of pointing his duty weapon at another driver on Aug. 26. The Annapolis Police Department on Sept. 22 charged Thornley with assault and the use of a firearm, a press release mentioned.
The incident report said Thornley was not working at the time and that he was heading home in his personal vehicle shortly after work. Thornley was still wearing his police uniform, the write-up noted. Officials added that nobody was hurt.
