Fire broke out on the fifth floor of a six-story building that is under construction in College Park Monday morning. More than 200 firefighters are currently battling the blaze, which continues to rage Monday afternoon. It has affected school operations at the University of Maryland and nearby residences, including a senior living community.
Elephant Tranquilizer Kills 2 Anne Arundel Residents
Maryland health officials say carfentanil, a large animal drug, caused three overdose deaths in the state, including two in Anne Arundel County. “We see it on the streets, often disguised as heroin," DEA Acting Administrator Chuck Rosenberg said of carfentanil. "It is crazy dangerous,"
