Food trucks are now part of the scenery at Columbia Gateway. Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman greeted them as they arrived this week at the business park, which is becoming an "Innovation District."
Fire Displaces 5 People, 1 Dog In Columbia: Officials
There was approximately $250,00 in damage to a townhouse near Phelps Luck Drive, officials said. The five people who were displaced were receiving assistance from the Red Cross. A dog was rescued from the basement.

Columbia Store Sells $1 Million Scratch-Off
Two friends in Columbia recently won $1 million from a scratch-off that they purchased together, according to the Maryland Lottery. The friends were in Pars Market in the 9400 block of Snowden River Parkway in Columbia when one went to purchase a $20 ticket but realized he only had $10; so his friend put down the other half, lottery officials said.
