Funeral Service Start Time Pushed Back for Fallen Paramedic
Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services announced change Sunday.
Minutes before the funeral for Erik Steciak, 29, was scheduled to start, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services posted on its live stream of the event that the proceedings had been delayed until 1:15 p.m.
The original start time for the funeral was 1 p.m. It was delayed until 1:30 p.m., then changed to 1:15 p.m., according to the live stream broadcast of the funeral through Howard County.
Steciak was a paramedic in Howard and Harford counties who died in the line of duty Jan. 6 in Bel Air.
