'A Night Of Illuminating Leadership' Hosted By Leadership Howard County Will Be Nov. 16

A Night of Illuminating Leadership awards ceremony hosted by Leadership Howard County will take place Nov. 16.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will hold “A Night of Illuminating Leadership” on Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College.

At the event, Leadership Howard County will present the Key Community Leader Award to Zack Shariff, CEO of Allen + Shariff, a building engineering and project management firm with offices in Columbia. Shariff graduated from the Leadership Howard County’s Leadership Premier program in 2012. The Key Community Leader Award recognizes a leader whose service to Howard County has made a significant impact and added value to the community.

Leadership Howard County also will present the Emerging Leader Award to a recent Leadership Howard County graduate who is "highly engaged and emerging as a strong community advocate." The organization will name a Corporate Community Impact Leader, who is a company "making significant contributions" to Howard County, as well as the “Best Class Ever” for 2023.

Tickets cost $100 until Sept. 15, $115 from Sept. 16 to Oct. 31 and $130 from Nov. 1 to 16. They cost $95 for employees of nonprofit organizations smaller than 25 people. To learn more and purchase tickets, visit bit.ly/LHC23Illuminate.
