Community 5: State Farm Insurance Agent Kirk Lynn
Each week Patch introduces you to Croftonites with five questions, helping to learn more about the people in our community.

Crofton State Farm Insurance Agent Kirk Lynn talks about his love for the insurance business.
1. What sparked your interest in the insurance business?
I was Finance major in college and looked at banking, financial markets and insurance. I chose Insurance after doing extensive research on State Farm and found that State Farm is an amazing organization that has an excellent culture and fosters an environment where the State Farm Agent is the added value for our customers. My father had a great experience with State Farm as well as an Agent in Central Pennsylvania. He owned and operated his Agency for 38 years before retiring in 2000.
