Is there a rivalry or is it a friendly competition among neighbors?
Arundel High School hosted the football game against South River on Friday night. But the students are far from strangers. Most of the kids in the stands are neighbors in Crofton and Gambrills.
These teenagers once attended elementary and middle school together before being separated into Arundel and South River students. Parents on both sides of the field mentioned what they feel is the need for a Crofton High School.
The home team side of the field was filed with students from both Arundel and South River.

A conducted Friday afternoon projected Arundel to win the game on their home turf.
