What's Open, Closed in Baltimore County for Labor Day

The following will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, for Labor Day:

• Baltimore County government offices
• Baltimore County courts
• Baltimore County Public Library
• Baltimore County Public Schools and offices
• Baltimore County Health Department
• Baltimore County senior centers and CountyRide
• Baltimore County landfill drop-off centers

Baltimore County parks are open. So are malls.

Trash—Curbside trash collection scheduled for Monday will be picked up Tuesday, as a general rule. (Check your specific pickup collection schedule here with the county.) There may be delays of a day or more in your scheduled pickups this week because of the holiday, and the county advises leaving out materials until they are collected.

Recycling: Due to Labor Day, recycling collections are canceled for the week in Baltimore County.

County government offices will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
