Edgewater Teens Charged with Damaging Park

The teen suspects reportedly drove their vehicles through a fence and across park grounds, Anne Arundel County Police say.

Two teenage drivers from Edgewater were charged with destruction of property by police for reportedly driving vehicles across the grounds of Davidsonville Park.

Anne Arundel County Police Officers were called to the park, 3042 Patuxent River Road in Davidsonville, about 10:53 p.m.

Witnesses said they saw two vehicles on the grounds of the park, damaging the fields. Police say the drivers, both 17-year-old boys, drove their vehicles through a fence and onto an asphalt trail in the park.

Officers searched the area and stopped two vehicles nearby that matched the description provided. Both vehicles were covered in dirt and mud.

Both teen drivers were charged as juveniles with destruction to property.
