Weather Update From HCPSS For January 17 2018

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Howard County will be closed for students on Wednesday, Jan. 17, school officials announced after 7:30 a.m. Snow was falling in the region, which was under a winter weather advisory for slippery roads.

All evening activities in schools, both school-sponsored and community-sponsored, are canceled. This includes high school athletic practices and games.

School offices in the Howard County Public School System will be open on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Several school systems have announced delays or schedule changes on Wednesday, Jan. 17:

• Baltimore City
• Baltimore County
• Carroll County
• Cecil County
• Harford County
• Howard County
• Kent County
• Montgomery County
• PG County
