Weather Update From Harford County Public Schools For Jan 17

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Harford County will be closed for students on Wednesday, Jan. 17, school officials announced Wednesday morning. Snow was falling in the region, which was under a winter weather advisory for slippery roads.

Previously, schools officials announced a two-hour delay; however, after 7 a.m. authorities reported that schools would be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17. All after-school and evening activities are canceled in Harford County Public Schools.

Code blue employees should report at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Several school systems have announced delays or schedule changes on Wednesday, Jan. 17:

• Anne Arundel County - closed
• Baltimore City - closed
• Baltimore County - closed
• Calvert County
• Carroll County - closed
• Cecil County - closed
• Frederick County
• Harford County - closed
• Howard County - closed
• Kent County - closed
• Montgomery County - closed
• PG County - closed
