One School Closed: Howard County Public School System
The school was closed Friday for a water main break, school officials said.
Due to a water main break, Deep Run Elementary School will be closed on Friday, Jan. 9, according to the Howard County Public School System.
All other schools will open on time Friday, the school system reported.
This week, Howard County public schools were closed Tuesday, then delayed Wednesday and Thursday as a result of weather conditions.

The Friday forecast in Howard County calls for winds up to 30 mph, a high temperature of 31 degrees and low of 12; and a 20 percent chance of snow in the morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Sleet was covering some roads in the region Friday morning, WJZ reported.
