School Bus Crash Sends Police Officer To Hospital: BCFD
BREAKING: An officer was injured in a crash involving a school bus on Martin Boulevard, Baltimore County fire officials reported.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — A Baltimore County police officer was hospitalized after crashing into a school bus Friday afternoon in Middle River. Crews from the Baltimore County Fire Department were at the scene evaluating passengers on the Baltimore County Public Schools bus.
Police said the officer was responding to a three-vehicle collision on Martin Boulevard at Windless Drive at the time. In that crash, authorities said two people were injured and required transport.
While responding to that call, the officer hit a Parkville High School bus, officials reported.

The bus then hit another vehicle, police said; nobody in that vehicle was injured.
Officials said they were dispatched to the crash on Martin Boulevard at Middle River Road at 2:59 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11.

Medical crews were assessing the seven people who were aboard the school bus, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported before 3:45 p.m.
Martin Boulevard is closed between Leland Avenue and Compass Road, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Police said the officer was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
This is the third crash involving a Baltimore County police officer this week.
One crash was fatal on Sunday, Jan. 6, near Pimlico in Baltimore City; the other resulted in the hospitalization of two people on Monday, Jan. 7, in Halethorpe.
