GAITHERSBURG, MD โ€” Four people were evaluated for injuries after a minivan struck a pedestrian and smashed into a Gaithersburg gas station store Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at the BP Gas Station on Woodfield Road, according to officials.

Montgomery County fire and rescue personnel evaluated four patients, including two with non-life-threatening injuries. Pete Piringer, spokesman for the county's fire department, said the other two patients will likely refuse treatment. Everyone in the gas station shop, Piringer added, is OK.
