• Gaithersburg Man Charged With Attempted Bank Robbery (montgomerycountymd.gov) — Police say a 44-year-old Gaithersburg man has been arrested after an attempted robbery at the M&T Bank on the 12100 block of Darnestown Road, where a note claimed he had a gun. No money was taken, and officers later took the suspect into custody on an attempted bank robbery charge. He is being held without bond at the county's central processing unit.
