• Plane Carrying 2 People Makes Emergency Landing At MoCo Airpark (patch.com) — Residents near Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg saw a tense moment turn out safely when a twin-engine plane with landing gear trouble made an emergency landing Monday evening. The pilot circled the Gaithersburg airpark several times before bringing the plane down without injuries, briefly closing the facility while fire and rescue crews secured the scene.
   

• 12 People Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Leak At MoCo Apartment (patch.com) — A carbon monoxide leak at the StreamSide apartments off N. Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg sent twelve residents, including several children, to the hospital over Labor Day weekend. More than 50 people were evaluated and three Gaithersburg buildings were evacuated while fire officials and Washington Gas traced the problem to an oven that has since been removed.
   

• Vehicle Thefts, Burglaries, and Assaults Included in Weekend Crime Summary (mocoshow.com) — Montgomery County Police report that over Labor Day weekend, two vehicles were stolen in the 6th District area serving Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village, with one later recovered. The broader summary details additional thefts, burglaries, assaults, and property damage across other county districts, offering Gaithersburg residents a snapshot of recent regional crime patterns and police responses.
