The pilot circled the Gaithersburg airpark several times before bringing the plane down without injuries, briefly closing the facility while fire and rescue crews secured the scene.

• 12 People Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Leak At MoCo Apartment (patch.com) — A carbon monoxide leak at the StreamSide apartments off N. Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg sent twelve residents, including several children, to the hospital over Labor Day weekend. More than 50 people were evaluated and three Gaithersburg buildings were evacuated while fire officials and Washington Gas traced the problem to an oven that has since been removed.
