Police Say Missing Germantown Man Found Safe: UPDATE
Sergio Oviedo, 34, who last spoke with a relative via text on Saturday, Dec. 22, was found safe and unharmed.
GERMANTOWN, MD — In a Monday evening update, Montgomery County officials say Sergio Oviedo has been located and is safe.
(Original post) GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing Germantown man.
Police said 34-year-old Sergio Oviedo, of Silvergate Way, last spoke with a relative via text on Saturday, Dec. 22. The family has not been able to contact Oviedo since then.

Oviedo is described as a 5-foot-seven, 160-pound man with long, black curly hair, a beard, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing. Both Oviedo's family and the police are concerned for his physical and emotional wellbeing.
Anyone who has information regarding Oviedo's whereabouts is asked to call police at 301-279-8000.
