Germantown Shooting Followed Dispute In Parking Lot: Police

An investigation by detectives determined that the shooting in Germantown was the result of an altercation in the neighborhood parking lot.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Two people were injured following a shooting in a Germantown parking lot Thursday night, police said.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., Montgomery County Police and fire and rescue personnel responded to the 12600 block of Grey Eagle Court for the report of a shooting that had just occurred.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper body and a 21-year-old female suffering from a non-life-threatening injury to her lower body, police said.

The male victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The female victim, however, was treated by first responders at the scene.
