Police Seek Missing Germantown Man

Police and family are concerned for Idris Hamidzai's physical and emotional welfare.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Germantown man.

Idris Hamidzai, 42, was last seen by family members when he left his Gravinia Circle home on foot at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, police said.

Police and family are concerned for Hamidzai’s physical and emotional welfare.

Police describe Hamidzai as a white male, who is 5′ 6″ tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He has brown hair, black eyes, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding Hamidzai’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
