Havre de Grace Man Charged During Thanksgiving Patrol

Bel Air Police said one of two arrests during holiday enforcement effort was an HdG man allegedly in possession of drugs.

A 21-year-old Havre de Grace man racked up drug charges during Thanksgiving patrols in Bel Air last week, according to a statement from the Bel Air Police Department.

Ahead of the holiday, Bel Air police announced that officers would be out in force looking for impaired drivers and those transporting drugs.

The 21-year-old Havre de Grace man, who lives in the 200 block of Smarty Jones Terrace, was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia, according to court records. Police said he was in possession of more than 25 grams of suspected marijuana.

He was one of two people arrested during the initiative, according to police; the other was a 26-year-old Fallston woman charged with DUI.
