HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The first annual Havre de Grace Ice Festival was a cool event all around. Live ice carving demonstrations, a prince and princess contest as well as "Frozen" performances were part of the event, which ran from Saturday, Jan. 19, to Sunday, Jan. 20.

Ice sculptures adorned the streets, in front of buildings from the Havre de Grace Cultural Center at the Opera House to Bella's Tea Room to George's Original Chicken House restaurant.

There was also a free "ice train" that people could ride around town.
