Kayaker Rescued From Susquehanna River, Officials Say

Emergency personnel said they conducted a water rescue Saturday in the Susquehanna River.

Officials said a man was rescued from the Susquehanna River Saturday while kayaking.

The man was holding onto his kayak and a submerged tree when the Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company reported its crew pulled up around 4:45 p.m.

The kayaker was taken back to the Port Deposit marina, where officials said he declined medical treatment.
