Man Stabbed In Havre de Grace On New Year's Day: Sheriff
Authorities in Harford County are investigating a stabbing in Havre de Grace.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Officials said a man was stabbed New Year's Day in Havre de Grace. He is expected to survive, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating the assault that was reported outside the city limits.
Officials said deputies were called to Pine Street before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a stab wound to the arm. The 25-year-old victim had reportedly been walking through his neighborhood to his home when two men he did not know assaulted him. A motive for the stabbing was undetermined, according to the sheriff's office.
The man was recovering at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from injuries that authorities said were not believed to be life threatening.
