Call About Boat Near Hatem Bridge Draws Emergency Response
Several fire-rescue boats were dispatched to the area of the Susquehanna River near the Hatem Bridge Thursday, officials reported.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — First responders received a call about a vessel that had flipped over near the Hatem Bridge. Crews were dispatched before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, to investigate along the Susquehanna River.
The Susquehanna Hose Company and additional fire-rescue boats from surrounding areas responded to the incident, according to the hose company.
By 3:40 p.m., the Susquehanna Hose Company reported that the call had been made with good intent, and crews were returning to service.
