The security chief at one Rockville high school has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor. He was arrested in April and told to have no contact with minors, but had sex with a teen last week, police said.
Main Street In Annapolis Reopens After Downtown Gas Leak
Initial reports of the gas leak came in around 10:30 a.m. and the buildings on the west side of Main Street to Conduit Street, including Annapolis Elementary School, were evacuated as a precaution.

Corvette Driver Charged In Alleged Street Racing Bust
A man was allegedly preparing to race a white Corvette against a blue Mitsubishi when a trooper arrived at the starting line. Officials say they continue to investigate illegal street racing and encourage anyone who witnesses such activities to report them to their local Maryland State Police barrack.

Elephant Tranquilizer Carfentanil Kills Pasadena Man
Autopsy results have determined a third Anne Arundel County resident died from an overdose caused by the powerful synthetic opioid carfentanil. The drug is an elephant tranquilizer hundreds of times more powerful than heroin.
