Michigan Woman Arrested in Randallstown Homicide: Police
Police said there was a custody dispute involved.

A Michigan woman has been arrested in connection with a recent homicide in Baltimore County, according to police.
Deidra Veella Griffin, 40, was taken into custody Monday night at her home in Bay City, Mich., on a warrant for first-degree murder and handgun violations related to a murder in Randallstown earlier this month, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.
Griffin was suspected in the shooting of Lonnie Bernard Paye Jr., 31, who was found dead from at least one gunshot wound at his Randallstown home in the 4300 block of Travancore Road before 8 p.m. on July 1.

Authorities reported he was found deceased on the floor, and a $2,000 reward was offered for information in the case.
Police said Griffin, who lived in Maryland for several years, had been in a relationship with Paye, and the investigation led detectives to her.
During the arrest in Michigan, officials said they recovered evidence from the July 1 homicide and learned that there was a custody dispute involving the child.
While pregnant with their child, Griffin moved to Michigan, according to police, who reported their son is less than one year old.
Police said Wednesday that Griffin was awaiting extradition to Maryland.
