Andy and Kelli Szczybor, whose son Ryan died of leukemia when he was 15 months old, are the inspiration behind Angel Park. “We wanted to call it Angel Park because there are so many people that have lost somebody,” Kellis Szczybor said. “Angel Park—that’s for everybody.”

The park is slated to be built in spring 2015.
