Schools in Cecil County will start later than usual on Monday, Jan. 12.
Cecil County Public Schools announced that there would be a two-hour delay on Monday, Jan. 12, due to weather.
There will be a modified prekindergarten and pre-school schedule, with a morning Session from 11 a.m.–12:50 p.m.; and afternoon session from 1:50 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. (may vary slightly by school).

Cecil County was under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Monday, while the National Weather Service issued a freezing rain advisory for much of the state. Transportation officials warned roads could be icy.
