Military Plane Crashes In Prince George's County
An F-16 aircraft has crashed near Clinton; residents who find debris should not touch it, say emergency authorities. The crash happened in a wooded area 200 yards from any homes, according to a spokesman for the Prince George's County Fire Department. One pilot reportedly parachuted out of the plane before the crash.

In Double Homicide, Estranged Husband Charged: Police
Dominick Daniel Hursey, 43, of the unit block of Chase Mill Circle in Owings Mills, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. While a motive has not been officially determined, authorities said their preliminary investigation indicates the slayings may be related to the separation and custody of their children.

Maryland Fracking Ban Makes History
Gov. Larry Hogan has signed HB 1325, which bans hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking,” in Maryland. The law will go into effect on Oct. 1, when a temporary ban on fracking expires. The Republican governor had previously called the possibility of fracking in two western counties, Garret and Allegany, an economic gold mine but later said "the possible environmental risks of fracking simply outweigh any potential benefits."
