This public-facing, vibrant space will catalyze entrepreneurs and executives and connect
them to each other and to TU’s programs and people.

The 26,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility is home to signature TU entrepreneurship
programs like the StarTUp Accelerator, competitions and events for students and professionals and 6,000 square feet of dedicated
free co-working space.

At the corner of Washington and Chesapeake avenues across from the new university
office space at 401 Washington and adjacent to Baltimore County government headquarters,
the former Maryland National Guard building’s location and footprint made it an ideal
site. Working with Greenberg Gibbons real estate development, the university has transformed
the StarTUp at the Armory into a best-in-class entrepreneurship and innovation hub.

Its size, accessibility and resident organizations and ventures make this space one
of a kind in the region.
