Congestion Clears on I-695 Inner Loop

Due to debris on the road, traffic was congested on the inner loop of Interstate 695 in the area of I-83 for more than two hours Tuesday morning, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

Two lanes were closed at 9:45 a.m. to allow crews to clean up debris in the roadway, CHART reports.

As of 11:25 a.m., the lanes remained closed and traffic was backed up in the area.

By 12:15 p.m., the lanes had reopened.
