• Running Lights and Siren While Late for Work, Waldorf Man Arrested for Impersonating Police Officer (smnewsnet.com) — A Waldorf resident has been charged with impersonating a police officer after allegedly driving his personal SUV with emergency lights and siren through traffic near Route 228 and Scotland Heights Drive in Waldorf. Maryland State Police say he claimed he was heading to work for a federal agency, but investigators determined he wasn’t authorized to use the equipment in his own vehicle. He was arrested, then released on recognizance pending court proceedings.
   

• Three Women Charged After Fight, Handgun Scare At California Wawa (smnewsnet.com) — A 25-year-old Waldorf woman and two Great Mills residents face charges after deputies responded to a large, chaotic disturbance at a Wawa in California, Maryland, where a handgun briefly fell to the ground. Authorities describe crowd-control challenges, alleged disorderly conduct, and a fight between two women, with all three defendants released on recognizance under various court-ordered conditions.
