Award-winning Mass. eatery to close for good
Chickadee in Boston's Seaport neighborhood announced on Wednesday that it would close for good. The restaurant’s final day of service will be Saturday, at its 21 Drydock Ave. space inside the Innovation and Design Building.
Italian restaurant suddenly shutters
Real Italian Gusto, an Italian restaurant open at 24 High St. in Medford Square for more than a decade, has closed its doors. The eatery posted a message to Instagram on Tuesday announcing the closure.
Mass. hotel named best city hotel in U.S.
XV Beacon at 15 Beacon St. in the city's Beacon Hill neighborhood was named the No. 1 Hotel in Boston, the No. 1 City Hotel in the Continental U.S. and the No. 55 Hotel in the world, according to a new ranking from Travel + Leisure.
Burger restaurant opening new concept in Greater Boston
BRED Brands will officially open BRED Bar on Thursday, July 23, at 730 Main St. in Cambridge. The restaurant expands on the company's BRED Gourmet concept, adding a full-service dining room, cocktail bar, lounge, and entertainment space while keeping its burgers as the featured item.
Wonder to open on North Shore with ribbon cutting
A new Wonder location in Peabody is set to officially open on July 23, with a ribbon-cutting, giveaways, live music and free samples at 229 Andover Street.
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., and the location will operate during regular business hours from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Mass. restaurant named among best hot dog spots in America
George's Coney Island Hot Dogs was included in a USA Today Network list of the best hot dogs in America. The Worcester restaurant was featured alongside hot dog spots from across the country.
Renowned Japanese handroll restaurant from NYC debuts in Mass.
A contemporary Japanese handroll concept from restaurateur Kevin Liu is coming to MarketStreet in Lynnfield from New York City this fall.
This will mark its first North Shore location of Matsunori and the brand's first suburban expansion.
