Court Docs Reveal Letters Of Support For Lindsay Clancy
Many close to Clancy sent letters to her lawyer painting her as a loving mother and dedicated labor and delivery nurse, documents reveal.
DUXBURY, MA — Dozens of friends and family members have written letters supporting Lindsay Clancy, the Duxbury mother accused of strangling her three young children to death, according to court documents.
As Clancy remains hospitalized while she awaits her next court appearance on May 2, documents show that nearly 40 people close to Clancy have submitted letters to her lawyer painting her as a loving mother and dedicated labor and delivery nurse.
Grace McNulty, a fellow nurse and longtime colleague of Clancy's, wrote in a letter that she is "a compassionate, supportive & excellent nurse" who loved nothing more than her three late children and husband Patrick.

Also included in the documents was an email from Clancy's surgeon, who wrote that Clancy suffered several severe spine fractures when she reportedly attempted to end her own life by jumping out a window and falling 20 feet.
"Unfortunately, she is not expected to recover meaningful function at this point below that level of the spinal cord, which would make her paraplegic," the note said.
