About DCU’s Acton Branch is Collecting for a Cause

ACTON, MA (September 5, 2017) – The fall season is the perfect time to clean out some unwanted clutter in your home and make a difference in your local community.
Digital Federal Credit Union, better known as DCU, through its partnership with second-hand retailer Savers invites residents and members to participate in “Collecting for a Cause” at all 22 branches across Massachusetts and New Hampshire from Tuesday, September 5th to Saturday, September 16th – including the Acton branch located at 100 Powdermill Road.
According to Savers’ they help to keep more than 700 million pounds of used goods from ending up in landfills each year. The Savers family of stores is global thrift retailer offering great quality, gently used clothing, accessories, and household goods. Savers will also donate to DCU For Kids, the credit union’s non-profit charitable foundation for every pound of items collected.
Donations of clean clothing, shoes, accessories. (belts, jewelry, purses, wallets), toys, bedding, linens, bath items and small household items (limit of 20-pounds per item) will be accepted at each branch and at your local Savers store, just mention DCU for Kids when dropping your items off.
